Vision for 2024
At Black Women in Higher Ed, wellbeing, growth, and success are at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals and meet their full potential.
In this inaugural year, we aim to build on our momentum by investing directly in our community with scholarships and professional development opportunities.
Our first year goals are simple yet bold. We hope you'll spend some time learning more about our vision and we look forward to partnering with you!
OUR GOALS FOR THIS YEAR
RAISE $1,000 FOR OUR ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
The 2023-2024 BWIHE Academic Scholarship will assist a college or graduate student as they matriculate and work towards their degree.
REACH 1,000 PEOPLE ON OUR SOCIAL PLATFORMS
We aim to expand our reach by growing our social media community and connecting Black women pursing higher education across the globe to each other.
HOST PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PANELS
We will host several professional development panels which will cater to undergraduate and graduate students as they navigate higher education as Black women.
